The 2013 Wagga Wagga Food and Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, 23 March from midday to 10.00pm at the Wagga Civic Theatre Garden, around the shores of the picturesque Wollundry Lagoon in the heart of the CBD. The event, run by Wollundry Rotary, promises a feast of food and wine stalls and a range of entertainment for all the family. The event supports charities in the region. The inaugural Wahroonga Food + Wine Festival will be held at Wahroonga Park on Sunday, 27 October between 11am and 5pm. The festival features a feast of events and entertainment:
Taste the wines: The event producers have carefully selected a wide range of exquisite wineries from around Australia, with a splash of imported wines. Meet the winemakers and taste and buy award winning wine.
Bring a rug and try delicious cuisines at this pop-up foodies’ paradise featuring international cuisines. Paella served by Pymble’s Lounge 10’47, Mexican by Cantina Mobil, the best veggie burgers by The Veggie Patch and Turkish Gozleme. Grilled Seafood tasting plates, an Angus beef spit roast, Asian dumplings and for dessert danish pancakes, ice creams and coffee from our hand selected gourmet food venders.
Bring z]a shopping basket: Regional produce market stalls will line the flowerbeds and walkways with fresh flowers, organic fruit and vegetables, olives and olive oils from Bunna Bunoo Olive Grove, vinegars and spices from Pure Blend, a range of gluten free delights from Miss E Gluten Free and puddings from Pudding Lane and more.
Enjoy live music on the rotunda and roving entertainment in the park. There will also be entertainment for children, including inflatable rides and our petting animal farm from the Southern Highlands.
