A small stand of prunus adorned with pink and white butterflies fluttering on the breeze against a background of blue sky and branches of bronze. Behold, the sight of this, coupled with the scent of sweet blossom in the air – the promise of Spring. Is Springtime just around the corner in your part of the world? Or are your seasons changing from Summer to Fall?

That is an awesome photo. We are just tiptoeing into the season of 'mists and mellow fruitfulness'.

Pat, thanks so much! Very kind. I like that, 'mists and mellow fruitfulness'. Nice. I like the way we share our seasons too. My pleasure. Thank you for stopping by.

Hi Janie, I am like you most of the time, but this has been a cold winter and it was made worse being bedridden with pneumonia etc. Bring on the sunshine xo

Celia! I'm doing a happy dance for you right this second, as I read the temperatures your are having. Bask in the warmth, lovely one xo 31/8/2013 09:39:16 am
We'll be moving into fall here soon. But today it's supposed to be 101 degrees F!!!! Can't complain because we've had a relatively cool summer, but the last couple of weeks have been brutal. So fall is sounding good. ;-) Lovely picture.

Wow, John, that is still so warm! I think I felt that way at the end of last summer too, for it was quite hot, although the last few years it has rained so much, we've barely had summer. That said, however, I can hardly wait for for warmth and lots of sunshine to nourish this tired, run down and old (ish) body of mine. Thanks : ) 31/8/2013 11:21:03 am
My mum died on the first day of spring so it's always tinged with a little bit of sadness. She loved flowers and would have loved your beautiful photo. It's such a special time of year.

Lisa, thank you, isn't it the best! xo 1/9/2013 06:58:05 am
Can I just come and live with you? I love spring and summer. Fall is OK but since it means winter is coming it is SO not my favorite season and besides that? I love tomatoes WAY more than pumpkin! :)
