A few months ago I was one of just a handful of cooks from across Australia invited to preview the Tefal Cuisine Companion. At an exclusive launch held at the Sydney Seafood School, I received a big box containing my very own, complementary Cuisine Companion and was signed up as a Founding Member of the 'Cuisine Companion Club' (an online community for those who own a Cuisine Companion).

'Hara hachi bu' say the Japanese. Sage advice, which translates to words along the lines of 'eat only until stomach is 80% full'. A Japanese proverb dating back to the 1300s reinforces this message: 'eight-parts of a full stomach sustain the man; the other two sustain the doctor'. In my mind's eye, I can see my Asian-born medical practitioners nodding furiously in agreement. 'I'm really thrilled about finding a home at SBS Food, amongst such stellar company.
