I remember yurts from way back in the 60s! Didn't know they were still around. Although camping, etc isn't really my thing. Sounds like a fun show, though. I always enjoy looking at gear. :-)

I do love these sorts of events and like you say, there's definitely something for everyone. I've been to these shows before and usually make a full day of it xx

Hmm: the more I read your blog and other newsy bits from Canberra the more I give credit to it being the 'most liveable city in Australia' [or was that the world :) ?]. Here again is an event I would love to have attended - well basically to peek into each caravan and try to get an one-to-one with Graham Ross. What happened to the days when Canberra was meant to be too hot in summer and too cold in winter and full of flies and boredom ?!! The last two certainly seem to have flown away in tandem . . . Have to make a list next year . . .

Well Eha, my friend, you could have held Peter's hand and accompanied him into every single caravan for a bo peep.... that to me is so boring, as we have no plans to ever, ever buy one. LOL! Yes, this is a great show, however, thankfully there is so much more to it! : )

[big impish smile] . . . Liz, if my circumstances were different I would adore becoming a Grey Nomad, buying a motorhome [rather than a caravan actually!] and, free as a bird, going just where my mood and the weather dictated. A dear girlfriend did just that with the new guy in her life and had the happiest ten years of that life ere she was called away . . . !!! Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
