That rolling pin is a thing of great beauty!! Love the little china bowls, but groaned at the sight of the Aldi fudge - you had us all addicted to that a couple of years ago and we've vowed not to buy it anymore - we can't resist it! :D Happy November to you, darling one. xx

Can't believe it's November already! Although happy to see it -- that means our election campaign season is almost over. :-) Speaking of which, the Obama candy is wonderful!

That little chocolate parasol sent me back to when I was very small and that was the height of excitement. In the days when chocolate really was a treat. I really enjoy Gin Gins too - not so much for travel but just the unusual molasses/ginger combo. #sweettooth

The very bestest with your book launch!! I know it will be a huge success and I'll surely cherish my copy and gifts to others! Love everything in your kitchen bar the moscato: too weak and too sweet for me :) !! Have to laugh - have three of those seemingly 'old-fashioned' sieves in my own kitchen and they are well-loved :) !

Congratulations on your book! What a wonderful achievement. The rolling pin deal is great too, I have been drooling over carved wooden rolling pins from Europe for a long time now but exercising discipline and restraint while I try hard to declutter our house, and I don't bake the kinds of biscuits that suit such a rolling pin!

Great rolling pin and beautiful blue bowls. The Obama mints made me smile and wistfully think of a better America - particularly in these ridiculous, scary & sad times before the US election in a few days time. Certainly, "Yes, we can[dy]". My IMK post went up today at: https://americanfoodieabroad.wordpress.com/2016/11/01/in-my-market-kitchen/

What great looking ginger Liz! I remember those little parasols, never was a fan of chockie so didn't eat many. How exciting about your book, it must take a lot of energy to do. My link for this month is https://aroundthemulberrytree.wordpress.com/2016/11/01/in-my-kitchen-november/

The bowls are absolutely beautiful. All those ginger products sound amazing. I've been using ginger lately in pear preserves. The rolling pin is a stunner, I've enjoyed seeing you use it on Instagram...that and watching your book at the printer. Congrats! My post went live today.

I like the nostalgic things in your kitchen, the enamelled bowl, the sieve and the chocolate parasol. My Grandma used to buy chocolate umbrellas for me, I thought like many things they were now just a memory. Looking forward to seeing your book, you must be very proud.

I have flowers on my chives too Liz, aren't the colours just gorgeous!? Do you eat them in salads? I haven't tried that yet. I am in love with your cute little china bowls - I'm addicted to small bowls, they're handy for everything. How cool is your vintage sieve, it's adorable.

Liz, your avocado would be great with a sprinkle of smoked sea salt -- any excuse to eat avocados, ha! -- the potatoes, too. I love your enamel bowl with the handles and also that ingenious nutcracker. (Less chance of pinching fingers that way.) Really a delightful roundup of gadgets and goodies in your kitchen this month! Looking forward to perusing the rest "at my leisure." Best wishes on your book launch!

I love the rolling pin, it's very unique. Your China bowls and enamalled bowls are just gorgeous. I haven't tried those Aldi butter fudge but I will have to see if they have it in our Aldi. We go mad for the Stollen and Lidl's ginger biscuits during Christmas time.
